One of three die-cast "Orbiter" vehicles released for Series 2, the Rhodium Orbiter was low-slung and equipped with an unusual hard-tipped missile launcher. In keeping with the orange-white-metal color scheme of the Orbiters, the die-cast metal body was flanked by two white plastic "running boards", while the wheels and launcher were accented with orange plastic.
Most boxes depicted the Rhodium Orbiter with a clear canopy, but this was removed in late development and never shipped.
